Dave Nitzel has over 35 years of management and senior leadership experience, beginning with major US corporations before eventually launching his own Atlanta-based hospitality management consulting firm. He is also a best-selling author with two published books he co-authored with a friend and fellow business consultant, Dave Domzalski. He and Dave have now released their second book, Hospitality DNA, to critical acclaim. Dave consults and coaches globally, where most of his efforts reside in the hospitality sector. He’s also mentored and trained professional athletes, consults for not-for-profit organizations, and serves as a life coach for at-risk youth in the US aging out of the foster care system.
Dave speaks regularly at industry events on all matters of hospitality with an emphasis on management and strategy in the bar and restaurant segment.
Dave has been married to his wife Jeni for over thirty years, they have four children: Alex, Zach, Olivia, and Sophia, as well as four grandchildren: Evalena, Katherine, Caroline, and one on the way! In his spare time, Dave enjoys cars, sports, movies, music, gardening, travel, and is a connoisseur of very average bourbons and tequilas.
