H. M. Wohl is the award-winning horror author of Writhe. H. M. Wohl is a pen name for her darker fiction. H.M. also writes spicy romance and romantasy under the pen name Aurora Alba as well as fantasy fiction, children's books, cozy mysteries, and non-fiction under her real name, Heather Wohl. She is also a coffee-loving Pitt Bull mom as well as a full-time laboratory coordinator in Wyoming. She loves solving cold case files, snuggling with her pups, and PC gaming.

H. M. Wohl is a supporter of those, like herself, suffering from chronic pain and fibromyalgia. She also is a staunch advocate for mental health awareness, BPD, and Pitt Bulls.
