I have been a nurse in the mental health field for almost two decades, sometimes helping patients understand what they are experiencing through a story, other times imagining the lives they lived through the stories I imagined. . I have also been a photographer for almost one decade, specializing in weddings and portraits, with the occasional landscape. Photography was always my way of getting my art crave sated, until I wrote my first story. I always scribbled or imagined little stories, but never considered myself a writer. Even after I published my very first book, I still did not consider myself a writer. One day it all clicked, and I realized that writing was actually therapeutic for me, even if no one else read it, that's when I realized I was a writer!
