Michael Sender

Before debuting as an author in 2024, Michael Sender has developed a multifaceted background as a musician, composer, music producer, singer, media executive, tech entrepreneur and agile coach. He was born in Grodno, Belarus, spent his early childhood in rural Nigeria and moved to Sweden at the age of 13. Michael Sender began writing in 2015 by launching a Russian-language blog that became renowned for its incisive critiques of Russian propaganda myths. His insights into international politics have made him a recurring guest on newsrooms and radio shows. His initial foray into book writing started with a collection of satirical fables in Russian previously featured on his blog. The idea for his first full-length book was inspired by his popular Twitter account, Aliens About Humans, which humorously highlights human foibles and reached 100,000 followers in 2022. The book was released in June 2024, titled Aliens About Humans: The Undercover Alien’s Handbook on Successful Infiltration.
