Pam Amlung

Pam Amlung is a dedicated parent, grandparent, wife, friend, and teacher. She is passionate about helping children and adults know God’s love in a personal way. She has five adult daughters (two are biological and three are adopted from China). As a parent to five delightfully different children, and through seasons of homeschooling and teaching, she has creatively integrated faith and a sense of wonder into her life as a parent, and now a grandparent. She is blessed to be part of a dynamic and solid faith community – both at Northstar Church in Loveland, Ohio, and with wonderful friend groups that span various denominations. Over the years, she has pursued graduate work in biblical studies and creative writing. In addition to writing, she enjoys leading women’s Bible study groups, facilitating spiritual/creative retreats with Treasure House, Inc., and teaching Sunday school to children. Pam's “day job” is practicing law as an estate planning attorney, preparing wills and trusts, etc. She and her husband, Tom, reside in Cincinnati, Ohio, close to their children and grandchildren.

Just like the main character, Gabby, in Pam's first picture book, she is eager to invite people in to “Come see what I see!” Or perhaps it is better stated: “Come and know Who I know! Experience the love and peace and joy that come from spending time in the presence of Jesus! Come know the Father! Come know Holy Spirit! Know what this means: ‘Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent’ (John 17:3 NIV).”
