Alison Collmer

Alison Collmer is an Oregon born-and-raised author, currently living in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and son. Together they enjoy eating nourishing food, finding creative ways to be frugal, spending time with friends and family, going on walks at a nearby nature reserve, and brewing different beverages. When Alison isn't spending time with her family, you will probably find her writing at a nearby cafe, organizing at home, starting the next batch of kombucha, spending quality time with a friend, or exercising. Alison has long had a passion for giving a voice to the voiceless, which has led to employment and volunteer opportunities in various contexts. She is especially passionate about bringing awareness surrounding Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, desiring to encourage strugglers and equip the local Church to come alongside those with this struggle. Alison has completed the Equipped to Counsel certification program at Salem Heights Church, through the Association of Biblical Counselors. She also holds a B.S. in Psychology from Western Oregon University.
