Sharon Ann Burton

Sharon, a retired teacher, resides with her husband, Wayne, in the Carolina Gardens Community in Fuquay Varina, NC. She is a self-taught artist. She is always inspired to write and illustrate children’s books about family, saving, volunteering and animals, especially those that are vulnerable or endangered.

As an artist, she has also created murals and individual water based paintings. Through experimentation and observation, Sharon has developed her own techniques using watercolors and liquid acrylics. Her subject matter is frequently glass, flowers, animals/pets, portraits, landscapes and much more.
