Owen Masterson

Born in Brooklyn, raised on Staten Island, prowled the streets of Manhattan. Currently residing in Palm Springs, California, by way of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, Owen has been a guitar slinger, singer, songwriter, recording artist, an actor, model, and abstract artist. Since 2000 he has been a commercial photographer and an award winning filmmaker/cinematographer.

Owen Masterson’s previous books are the provocative prose novel SOMETIME (2019 - Part 1 The Heck Harlanson Trilogy), a modern love story for our times, MEANWHILE (2024 - Part 2 The Heck Halrlanson Trilogy), a rollicking tale of wanting, searching, and Hollywood and a companion to SOMETIME, and NOWHERE (2026 - Part 3 of The Heck Halrlanson Trilogy) in which all mysteries are solved, written in Owen's adrenaline fueled prose style.

Other books include FIVE EASY PIECES FOR TYPEWRITER (2021), a thin collection of poorly written, over-priced, and previously published articles and stories from the mid 1980s and ‘90s, and MEDICINE CABINET GLASS (2017), a collection of original song lyrics written between 1973 to 1984.

He is rumored to be alive and living with his wife and muse, and a charm of savage and beautiful hummingbirds somewhere in the California desert.
