Sean E. Mahar, MA—current role, owner of Sean E. Mahar & Associates, LLC, working with clients around the world to dramatically enable them to improve their communication effectiveness and success. With a bachelor’s in English literature, a masters in Speech Communication, and post graduate work studying several approaches to therapy, Sean has taught at the graduate level for American International College, Springfield, MA, USA for over 15 years and held leadership positions applying his communication expertise in healthcare organizations for nearly 30 years.

With his extensive academic and applied work in both billion-dollar organizations and his private coaching practice, his greatest discoveries and teaching began in 2010 with a startling epiphany about how all human communication works. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to use his knowledge about communication to save lives, save organizations, save jobs, and save families. His approaches apply in all languages and all cultures. His understanding of human communication has been recognized as profound, unique, and mind-blowing. His full time focus now is translating the science and research about how communication works into practical instruction and practice for individuals and organizations.

They picked Sean to give the opening presentation to all their employees. A Risk Management firm in Oklahoma, USA picked Sean to teach 1,000 physicians and clinical leaders/practitioners to dramatically improve their healthcare handoffs to reduce deaths and to improve healthcare continuity. He is currently conducting a Conscious Communication Practitioner Certification program for a dozen professionals from India to Switzerland.
