Craig Handel

I began writing for a small, weekly newspaper in Deerfield, Wis. at age 13. This led me to freelancing for the Madison Capital Times, graduating from Wisconsin-Eau Claire and working for daily newspapers in Wisconsin, Arizona, California and Florida. After writing for newspapers for more than 40 years, I've focused my attention on book writing. The topics have ranged from collaborating with an Irish storyteller to optimizing mental performance to developing and building nonprofits. In May, 2024, I published a book on groundskeeper George Toma, who worked the first 57 Super Bowls. I'm currently collaborating with two self-made millionaires on how they became entrepreneurs and lessons they're sharing with future business leaders.

After living in Southwest Florida for almost 25 years, I moved to St. Petersburg, Fla. with my wife Isabel to be closer to our daughter Izzy, who is a school teacher. Son Daniel lives in Delaware.
