Jacinto Jardim

Jacinto Jardim. With a degree in Social Sciences, he is a professor and researcher at the Open University (UAb-Lisbon), where he is the coordinator of the Masters in Entrepreneurship and Global Citizenship (MECG) and the Center for Global Studies (CEG-UAb). He is a Portuguese academic with extensive knowledge and know-how in educational science, entrepreneurship, and management. He earned a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Aveiro (UA-Aveiro), a master’s degree in educational sciences from the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP-Lisbon), and a degree in Educational Sciences from the Pontifical Salesian University (UPS-Rome). Furthermore, he also held a specialist degree in Management and Administration from the Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology (ISLA Gaia). He had two post-doctorates in Entrepreneurship and Education from the University of Aveiro, UCP, and the University of Lisbon and a degree in Theology from UCP-Lisbon. He founded the International Network for Education for Entrepreneurship (RIEE) and the Permanent International Forum for Education for Entrepreneurship (FIPEE), which brings together entrepreneurship experts monthly, mainly from Portuguese and Spanish-speaking countries. It operates nationally and internationally, distinguishing itself by connecting people and institutions and by interconnecting teaching, research and dissemination of knowledge. He has published multiple scientific articles and several reference works in the field of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial skills and intervention programs in education.
