Donna Steele

Since I was a little girl, I was told by teachers, family, professors, friends that "You're a good writer" or "You should write." And now I've gone and done it! My first FICTION story to be published is available on Amazon and select book stores. It appears in Father, Short Stories by Bluewater Publications.

I currently publish in The Studio, a thematic creative journal with an international reach. I published for years as an opinion writer for the Greenfield [IN] Daily Reporter, winning an award for Best General Commentary for dailies in my category from The Hoosier Press Association. I am seeking to publish my first manuscript of poetry. I also host a monthly Poetry Open Mic in Florence, Alabama.
