Ann Matzke

Ann has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Drake University. She first published poems after college. She completed a Master of Science degree with a library endorsement from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She published articles in children’s magazines, professional journals and poetry in literary journals and regional magazines. She earned an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University. She has published more than a dozen nonfiction books for the school and library market.
