Donna K. Drago

I am a retired journalist and editor, currently writing Contemporary fiction geared to a primarily female audience. I love gardening, good food, good wine--lots of rosé--and solo travel. My memoir The Time and the Place: Turning Dreams to Duras is about finding and buying a small house in France, a place I travel to often and where I set my first novel, The Mattress Vendor. My newest novel, The Swinging Gate, is set in the South Carolina Lowcountry and features two couples, once the closest of friends, who have a major falling out after a tragedy exposes secrets and infidelities. A third novel is in the works.
