Samuel E. Pair

Born in Norfolk, Virginia and living most of his life in Connecticut, Samuel E. Pair is an Author, Aerospace Engineer, and former International Operations Manager of Propulsion Systems Manufacturing for a major jet engine producer. Starting his technical career at a jet engine manufacturer as an engineering aide, Mr. Pair subsequently earned a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Hartford and a MS degree in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, leading him to higher ranking positions in aerospace and international aviation. An inspirational leader through his 38-year technical career, Sam is a four- time nominee and finalist for the Black Engineer of the Year Award presented by the Council of Deans of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Lockheed Martin and the Mobil Corporation. He continues to live his retired life in Connecticut where he is working on his next book of experiences and insights regarding cross-cultural acceptance.
