Paul Garner

Paul Garner is a writer, educator, and publisher. After retiring from a 40-year career in finance and technology, he founded Panthera Publishing. He has authored and produced dozens of books that encourage spiritual growth, historical inquiry, and civic understanding. His writing blends clarity, compassion, and scholarship to engage both believers seeking depth and skeptics searching for substance. 

Paul brings a rare combination of teacher’s heart and philosophical rigor to his work. He has taught students across a wide age range, from elementary school to adult learners, always emphasizing critical thinking, imagination, and a deep respect for truth. He has studied the Bible for over 60 years including 3 yrs in college.  He is known for making complex ideas accessible without sacrificing their nuance, whether writing about the founding of the American republic, the early church, or the life of faith in the modern world. 

Paul moved to Florida 18 years ago after 16 years living in Massachusetts.
