Angela Tibbs was born on July 4, 1979 in Danville, Illinois. She is the daughter is the first daughter of Greg and Laurie Tibbs.
Angela grew up in the small town of Georgetown, Illinois. Just like other kids growing up in the world she had to do young authors and didn't really like doing it at a young age. After doing young authors in the sixth grade Angela fell in love with writing stories and being in the world that was created when writing it. Being born with cleft lip and palate Angela always saw herself as an outcast never fitting in with the peers or people around her, so she should writing stories to escape the darkness she was in at that time in her life. She pictured it as a place where she was cool and fit in with everyone around her. As life went on and Angela's kept writing she started to see that her writing could help other people who were inflicted with the same deformity she had. After making Jesus the lord of her life in the year two thousand, her writing started to change as she saw the lessons that were in front of her to learn. She started to write poetry also as she went forward with learning how to play guitar. Many of those poems have become songs on her albums that she has released over the years. After years of learning lessons and writing what she had learned down on paper, Angela knows that what she wrote isn't just for her to learn and grow from, but she believes that people around the world will also learn and grow from what she has written. She believes that helping someone else on their journey on the earth is a great privilege and hopes that it will be passed down to someone else who will keep the learning going for years to come.
