Andrea Bertolini

Andrea Bertolini was born in 1962 in Milan, Italy. He has been involved in spiritual research since the age of 20. He traveled to all five continents in search of the sources of Initiatory Wisdom, studying with different masters, both of Eastern and Western traditions. After a long experience in Zen Buddhism and in a Western shamanic school, in 2001 he met Giovanni Maria Quinti continuing his path in the tradition of the Fourth Way. He is part of the La Teca-Institute for Harmonic Development Association, with which he collaborates as a trainer, conducting seminars and conferences on esotericism, in particular on Gnosis and Alchemy.

Today his books are brought together in an editorial and also cultural project, Viaggio nella Gnosi (Journey into Gnosis), which is also the title of his first important book published together with Fabio Imbergamo. This book, the result of 14 years of research, study and meditation, is aimed at all seekers, especially those who are interested in the Western Initiatory Tradition, those who have tried to approach Gnosis, and all the people who in recent years have heard of an esoteric Christianity, often in a distorted way, and would like to know more. The Manuale di Quarta Via (Fourth Way Manual), written together with Eva Maria Franchi, briefly sets out the practical and operational principles useful to provide the basis for taking the first steps in self-knowledge and embarking on an initiatory path. L’Universo simbolico Dei Tarocchi (The Symbolic Universe of Tarots), is an interview book dedicated to the teacher Luciana Petrini, conversations of high intellectual and spiritual value alternate with an exposition on the symbolic and initiatory use contained in the esoteric figures of the Arcana.

In the recently published book, I Segreti di Gurdjieff – Gnosis Enneagramma Alchimia (The secrets of Gurdjieff - Gnosis Enneagram Alchemy), is deepened the link between Gnosis and Alchemy and the teachings of G. I. Gurdjieff (the Fourth Way) through an in-depth and documented study that demonstrates how these paths come from the same root and how over the centuries they have influenced most of the initiation schools of the West. The book presents the operating methods of these Paths of Knowledge accompanied by an unpublished study on the esoteric Enneagram. The book is accompanied by splendid color images edited by Franca Ferrario.
