Julie Rutkowski is a small-town girl who loves sports, the outdoors, and peanut M&Ms. She is a wife, mom of two humans and multiple dogs, retired middle school teacher, and word game aficionado. Winning “outstanding editorial column” in high school launched her noted writing career throughout Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Her family, friends, and relatable life experiences provide an ample supply of material for her amusing, often surprising, stories. In the little things, she finds humor, warmth, and lasting memories.
Julie believes we need to laugh more, stress less. "I Should Have Gotten A Manicure" is Julie’s first book, though there are many stories left to tell. She is currently constructing her next book while mowing grass and pulling weeds.
