W. K. Brannigan

W.K. Brannigan. William Kieran Brannigan (Bill), l live and work in London. Born in London, educated in Ireland, I worked in banking in Dublin for a period, then moved to New York for a few years before returning to London. I gained a BA in English Lit. from night study at Birkbeck, University of London (1998) and an MAR (Master of Arts by Research) on T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land from Durham University (2020).

I set up Alep Press as an independent publisher to publish books on literature and on wider culture. A book of commentary from writers on the TV series Euphoria is planned. The aim is always to reveal and explain the beauty of art in plain English. So, even if they may at first glance look challenging, you can read these books.

My work on The Waste Land and modernist literature spans two decades. I sensed there was a deeper meaning in the poem, though never anticipating the extraordinary depth and craft within the work. The books I write for Alep Press on that poem are part of a planned series revealing the unified complexity and beauty of one of the greatest works of world literature.
