Mike Varney

This is my first book but, hopefully, not the last. Golf and writing have come to the fore in my autumn years. I am proud to declare Marshfield, Wisconsin, as the place I was born, bred, and educated. However, I now claim Wisconsin's economic engine, Milwaukee, as home--and just as proudly. Both places seem to achieve more than others expect.
