Marius Born

Marius Born is a media professional and personal coach with a wealth of senior management experience within the TV industry. He served as the editor-in-chief of Swiss television’s weekly business magazine and headed the documentary department at SRF Swiss Radio and Television. His work in journalism and format development, recognized with numerous awards, was complemented by his corporate experience at IBM’s headquarters in New York.

Marius advises senior executives as well as startup entrepreneurs on the communicative positioning of their ventures. In academia, he shares his insights as a lecturer in visual storytelling and communication strategy at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW and the University of St. Gallen HSG. His research centers on the dynamics of trust formation, focusing particularly on how language use influences and shapes trust within contexts of uncertainty. Marius holds a master’s degree in business administration and organizational psychology from the University of Zurich, along with a summa cum laude PhD in communication sciences from the Università della Svizzera italiana USI.
