Nellie Griffith was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, and is now a resident of Raleigh, NC. She is an ordained minister, a public speaker, a teacher, a life/career coach, and a mentor. She's also an author and an editor. In December 2013, while driving home, Nellie suffered a massive left brain hemorrhage—a Stroke, and was in a coma. On the third day, she miraculously woke up. Since her stroke, Nellie has gone back to school and graduated with a BA in Interactive Media Arts. She has also become a Certified Professional Life and Career Coach, a graphic & web designer, and an entrepreneur. “Girl, Get Your Life Back” has been a driving force in her recovery process, as she had to get hers back in order to understand and help others through their traumatic experience. She has created coaching programs for other survivors who are ready to get their lives back after traumatic life experiences. Nellie loves her family & friends, music, singing, preaching, coaching, and the New York Giants!
