Lori Polep

Lori Polep's passion for business started at a very young age as she listened to her parents discussing challenges and solutions in the companies they owned. Lori didn't realize it as a child, but those discussions laid a foundation of knowledge for her in a way that many others may never experience. This knowledge was critical when the family business had to start over in 1996 and grew to over 1.3 billion dollars in sales by 2019.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Business at Boston University, Lori embarked on a career at IBM, where she recognized the transformative power of technology. When she returned to her family's business, she harnessed technological advances to create significant opportunities for growth. Her commitment to continuous learning, employee engagement, and process improvement boosted productivity and efficiency and paved the way for the company's future success.

As Vice President and Chief Information Officer with a Master of Science in Business Management (Communication Technologies) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Lori is uniquely skilled in problem-solving and process improvement, saving her company millions of dollars. Additionally, Lori's negotiation expertise continually saved the company money when working with vendors and suppliers. Cross-selling, product diversification, geographical expansion, teamwork, and other factors contributed to the company's tremendous success.
