Jon Garate spent the first twenty years of his life on the American frontier in a primitive and isolated homestead community. His Grandparents and his father were at first American pioneers and then homesteaders when the homestead acts reached the area. He has written several books from that perspective, including topics of life on the homestead, political humor, philosophy, and primitive country music.
His current work includes a series on American liberty including topics on freedom from government, customary law, understanding the U.S. Constitution by its simple principles, and a study of the Federal Government out of bounds. Only the first book, American Frontier Liberty, Customary Law and Freedom from Government is available. The second book, Understanding the U.S. by its Principles will be available in late June or early July 2024. The third book, U.S. Constitutional Liberty vs. Government Out of Bounds is still a way off.
