Danny Dragone

In 2017, my wife and I moved to Philadelphia, a small town compared to my home of sixteen years, New York City (Astoria, Queens – to be more precise). With my focus on completing a single novel, I wound up writing four. Although I’m full of ideas, the inspiration for The Sun Follower came from the search for my father in Second Life. In my books, every character is a soul I’ve encountered, who somehow drifted into one of my parallel universes. There is always a little blood on the page.

In New York, I founded two popular bands and worked as a songwriter and producer at an indie label, amongst many other creative endeavors. After a decade that played out like a dramatic episode of Behind the Music, my life is gladly now much tamer. I’m a creative coach to writers and musicians. I also freelance as a sound engineer for dozens of podcasts. In addition, I assist my wife with her thriving online business. Together, we enjoy our needy lap cats, family, friends, and traveling to warm places.
