Kimberly Bird

Kimberly Bird is a wife, mom, nurse, and most importantly, a follower of Jesus. She is from the great state of Alaska and enjoys hiking, fishing, and tide pooling. In 2019, Kimberly was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Since then, some of her former interests and activities have become a bit challenging. Over the past several years, God has really sparked her creative side, blessing her with a joy for new endeavors, such as music, writing and art.

The idea for “If Rocks Could Talk,” was inspired during a geology lesson with her son. It was such a reminder that if you are listening, you can hear the Holy Spirit at any time! Kimberly prays this book encourages children to dive deeper into God's Word and build a love for the amazing truth of Scripture.
