Mrs. Phelicia Sams

I am a mother of 6 children and grammy to 1. I was a 3rd grade teacher and also a Navy veteran. Nowadays, I am a stay at home mom and DS advocate. My 5th child was born in May 2022 and was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. His diagnosis is what led me to write Down Right Declan. The title was chosen to reflect his social media account usernames. I am hoping to write a few more book in the series to help promote awareness and acceptance of our beautiful boy and others with different abilities.
