R. A. Bowen

Rebecca Ann Bowen (who also writes as R. A. Bowen) has never met a genre she didn’t want to wrestle with. A former technology executive turned full-time author, she’s just as comfortable writing about ancient gods as she is about modern politics. Her work stretches from fantasy epics (the Gods and Mortals series) to AI how-to guides (Prompt Domination) to sharp political commentary (Anyone Can Be President: Terms & Conditions Apply).

She has a background in psychology, a graduate degree in strategic leadership (summa cum laude, because she doesn’t do things halfway), and years spent in the tech world championing diversity and inclusion. But what she loves most is storytelling—the kind that questions power, spotlights women’s voices, and refuses to accept the world “as is.”

When she isn’t writing, you might find her digging into ancient texts, laughing at British comedians, or diving into conversations about everything from mythology to UFOs. Her mission is simple: reveal what’s rigged, reimagine what’s possible, and—always—write women into power.
