Guohua An, MD, PhD, currently is an Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa. Her research centers on pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and pharmacometrics. She has been in the PK/PD field for 20 years and has published 99 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. An is an editor of Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and she serves as an editorial board member of Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, The AAPS Journal, and Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics. In addition to conducting research, she also teaches students in the PharmD program and graduate program.
In addition to pharmaceutical research and teaching, she loves art and writing. She has written the following four single-author books:
