Dylan Paish

Dylan Alexander Paish was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, where he currently lives in his own version of ‘The City’ with his incredibly loving partner, Gina, and the cutest cat the world has ever know, Inca.

Dylan studied at the University of Calgary and graduated with a Bachelor of Music. Although he studied euphonium, he plays multiple instruments and has found his true calling playing the trombone. He can be found playing live music throughout Calgary and surrounding areas with numerous bands, such as Natural Twenty and I Am The Mountain. He also produces and creates his own music and videos, which can be found on YouTube under the name ‘SeatBack Beats.’

As a long-time book lover, fiction and non-fiction alike, he was inspired to try his hand at writing during the lockdowns caused by COVID-19. While he has no formal training in writing, he enjoys partaking in many different creative endeavours regardless of the medium and finds the process endlessly rewarding.
