Shelly Kurtz is the Founder and Principal of Eagle Pointe Advisors, supporting philanthropies, nonprofits and social impact organizations as a strategic CXO.
Kurtz co-founded an innovation center for Technology for Public Interest (Tech4PI), a market intelligence platform for social innovation organized by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and a digital evidence SaaS platform. Recipient of over 50 industry awards, Shelly has led over 200 global campaigns in tech, media, social impact and entertainment. She is an experienced Sales & Marketing Executive for Tech Startups and Fortune 500 companies. Her last venture was recognized by Fast Company as a World Changing Idea. She is on the board of directors of Guardify, Inc., a company she co-founded in 2018 to protect child survivors of abuse. Today, it is the leading digital evidence management system in use by 11,000 government and nonprofit agencies across the US protecting over 250,000 survivors. Since 2021, Shelly has been an advisor to Concordia, a nonpartisan nonprofit convener focused on building social impact partnerships. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Center for Workforce Inclusion, a national nonprofit workforce development organization focused on older Americans. Shelly is an active advisor to entrepreneurs, start up ventures and impact organizations, while supporting women and young people with career coaching and mentorship. Shelly is a frequent public speaker and regularly conducts guest lectures.
The daughter of a Cuban immigrant, Kurtz is a first generation college graduate and received her degree from Pacific Lutheran University. Kurtz lives in Gig Harbor, WA, USA, with her husband, two children and dog.
