Ross West

Ross West has placed fiction, essays, journalism, and poetry in publications from Orion to the Journal of Recreational Linguistics. His work has been anthologized in Best Essays Northwest, Best of Dark Horse Presents and elsewhere. For nine years he was the Science Writer for the University of Oregon and edited the university’s research publication, Inquiry, then served for a decade as senior managing editor at Oregon Quarterly. He was text editor for the Atlas of Oregon (2001) and the Atlas of Yellowstone (2012 and 2021 editions).
