Kevin T. Jones

Dr. Kevin T. Jones (PhD, Louisiana State University) is Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication and Cinematic Arts at George Fox University. Kevin has 40+ years of experience teaching communication studies and has spent those years exploring how to connect communication theory to real world/real life experiences. In his most recent work, "Unwrapping the Gift of Communication," Kevin provides people of faith with sound biblical examples and illustrations of how to incorporate communication theories into a faith based world view.

Over the years, Kevin has received numerous awards for his teaching. He has served as the president of several local and national professional organizations including the Religious Communication Association, the Northwest Communication Association, the Kentucky Communication Association, and the National Christian College Forensics Association. He is an avid cyclist and lives with his wife, Michelle, and their four children in Newberg, Oregon.
