Sharon Marie Brunner

Sharon Brunner has published nine books of various genre predominantly about Native Americans. She has provided over 30 years of service to the Native American population from all over the United States to her local communities of Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, Michigan. Her employment experiences include: Adjunct professor for a tribal college, an education coordinator and Head Start manager for the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians (Sault Tribe) of which she is a member. Sharon traveled all over the U.S. when she served as a private consultant for the Dept. of Health and Human Services out of Washington D.C. Sharon also served on a child welfare committee for the Sault Tribe for 23 years. Currently, she is an author and writer and has retired from other sources of employment. Finds enjoyment by spending time with family and friends and hiking in the great outdoors. She also has fun riding her bike. During the summer months she has a vegetable garden. Loves reading anything she can get her hands on from nonfiction to fiction. Her volunteer activities have included: volunteering at the local animal shelter and serving as the president of an elders' group. Sharon lives in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan with her husband, dog and two cats.
