During the challenging days of the pandemic, like many others, I found myself searching for ways to cope with the overwhelming feelings of depression and anxiety that seemed to lurk around every corner while i was confined to my house. Feeling trapped and isolated, I stumbled upon coloring books and activity pages almost by accident.
To my surprise, what started as a simple pastime quickly became a lifeline. Each stroke of color seemed to wash away a bit of the heaviness that weighed on my heart. Coloring became my therapy, my escape from the chaos of the world outside my door.
As I journeyed through my own healing process, I couldn't shake the feeling that I wanted to do something more, something to reach out and help others who might be struggling in the same way. And so, Paper Luxe Studios was born—a humble attempt to offer a glimmer of hope and comfort to those who needed it most.
Drawing upon my background in graphic design from CCAD, I set out to create coloring books and activity pages that not only provided an outlet for creativity but also brought joy and inspiration to those who colored them. Along the way, I noticed that some of the available content felt a bit lackluster, a tad mundane.
That's when inspiration struck—I realized I could use my own creativity to spice things up a bit, to infuse my designs with the vibrancy and excitement that I craved. And so, armed with my colored pencils and a heart full of hope, I set out to create the most beautiful and compelling content I could imagine.
Now, almost nightly, you'll find me lost in a world of colors and patterns, searching for that perfect design to share with the world. From my humble beginnings in Cincinnati, Ohio, to my current home in Atlanta, Georgia, my passion for art and creativity has only grown stronger.
At Paper Luxe Studios, we believe that art has the power to heal, to uplift, and to inspire. And it's our mission to share that power with as many people as we can. So come join us on this journey—a journey of color, of creativity, and of hope. Together, we'll paint a brighter tomorrow, one stroke at a time.
