Alivia Maar

Alivia Maar was born in the peach state of Georgia. At a young age she was introduced to the Belgariad series by her father which kindled an obsession with reading and writing. In 2016 she opened the virtual doors to LivsBookshelf a book blog dedicated to giving new and upcoming authors a platform to market their books. A year later Maar began working as a freelance semi-professional editor, a profession that she stayed with until college. Her second love, the ocean and all of the incredible creatures that dwell within motivated her to earn her B.S. in Biology from Georgia Southern University. As a writer and educator Alivia constantly seeks to improve her own work and lend her hard-won knowledge to others. These days she can be found working on her debut series The Dolah Chronicles and playing with her dog Hazel, in equal measure.
