Benjamin Twigg is a fantasy author from Australia. As a queer writer, he crafts stories full of heart, magic, and unapologetic queer joy. His debut novel Dad Magic won multiple indie awards for Best Fantasy, Best Magic System, and Best Cover, and is currently nominated for Best Fantasy of the Year by the IndieVerse Awards 2025.

Ben grew up devouring fantasy books and dreaming of writing his own. As an adult, he found inspiration in role-playing games and story-driven adventures—racking up hundreds of hours exploring imaginary worlds and character arcs.

Today, Ben writes modern fantasy with humour, heart, and characters who defy expectation.
