Daniel Alexander

Hi, I’m Daniel Alexander—an author drawn to stories that linger.

I write fiction rooted in realism, exploring the raw edges of human nature—addiction, ambition, sacrifice, and the quiet breaking points people don’t always see coming. My work lives in that space where pressure builds, choices carry weight, and consequences don’t fade when the story ends.

Before writing, I spent years in the world of professional wrestling, stepping into the ring at just 16 years old. What started as passion quickly became identity. By the time I graduated high school, I was wrestling multiple nights a week—chasing something that always felt just within reach.

But that path came at a cost.

Years of physical strain, a battle with rhabdomyolysis, and a serious car accident forced me into a decision I couldn’t avoid—continue down a road that was breaking me, or step away and find something else to build.

Writing became that path.

What started as scattered notes on a phone eventually turned into full-length manuscripts, and over time, a body of work centered on stories that feel grounded, human, and emotionally honest. I later co-founded Karma Creations Publishing LLC with my wife, Kristy, turning that shift into something real.

While my fiction explores the psychological and emotional weight of life’s harder truths, my nonfiction work—like Mixology That Holds Up—draws from real-world experience behind the bar, focusing on craft, performance, and the systems that separate guesswork from understanding.

Across everything I write, the goal is the same:

to create work that feels real, hits hard, and stays with you.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy spending time with Kristy, working the smoker (usually Boston butts or salmon), mixing cocktails, or chasing that elusive trophy catfish.

If you’ve ever found yourself caught between chasing something and questioning what it’s costing you, there’s a good chance my work will resonate.
