Tameca Wood is committed to saving lives through literacy. She has dedicated her life to teaching young people with one goal in mind: to keep the love of learning alive. Having taught all grades first through sixth, she claims fifth grade as her favorite. She is an avid learner at heart. Her best lessons are learned from the students she gets to teach and the people she experiences life with. Books are Tameca’s very best friends. You could probably find them in every room of her house, in her car, and usually in her purse, too.

Tameca is her best self when she is loving, learning, reading, writing, leading, or spending time with family. Her writing is captivating and compelling. It is both rich and simple simultaneously. Tameca translates profound concepts into ideas that are fun and easy to understand. She wrote this book to strengthen her audience from the inside out. This is her first book! Tameca is married to Churchill Wood IV, and they happily abide in Maryland, USA, with a bonus son and beautiful granddaughter. Tameca is the oldest of four siblings with the most amazing parents on the planet, Charlie and Delores Henry, Jr. In an effort to salute her respected legacy of ancestors, Tameca’s highest joy is knowing she’s making her family proud.
