Erika Shields

Erika Shields is a creative first and teacher second. She is homegrown in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area and that is where her characters reside. The inspiration for every book comes from her family, friends, students, and community. From picture books to contemporary novels, there are so many projects set to come out over the next four years.
