Born and bred in Norfolk, he’s been a Designer most of his professional life, working in a varied range of creative fields; from mechanical engineering and creative product design, to architectural design and much more occasional jobs in-between. Never being shy of any form of hard work or getting his hands dirty, he's also seen the harder side of life too.

He has a great imagination and dark sense of humour, having experienced all the good and bad this often hard world and life has to offer, and can seemingly throw at us when least wanted or expected. He uses this ironic and sometimes cold way of viewing life in his novels, but can also be sympathetic, especially when it comes to the care and welfare of animals, either small or large, being a great fan of caring for the environment and all those that naturally live there.

Introduced to horses by his cousin in his late teens, he has since become a lifetime horseman, owning various horses and taking part in most forms of riding activity. From hacking to hunting, showjumping to showing, and has even ridden in a charity horse race around Fakenham in Norfolk. He was covered on T.V. as part of a programme and was later interviewed live straight after the race to give his thoughts. No swearing please!

He shares his busy and sometimes chaotic world with his family, dogs and horses, still enjoying a wide range of equestrian activities, including carriage driving, where in the past he's competed in Indoor Driving Trials. He still enjoys riding out and schooling horses, including currently working on his latest youngster, who he is bringing on.

He has always enjoyed writing in some form most of his life, but had done little about proceeding any further. However, realising time and life were rapidly reaching the end of the runway, he decided it was time to finally put 'pen to paper' (fingertips to keyboard) and to get the array of novels long sitting within his brain out for the world to see. It is hoped some people might even enjoy reading them, and as such his dark way and style, as much as he does writing!

Spite! was his first novel, a fast-paced, dark and twisting psychological thriller, it takes the reader at speed page by page through a range of emotions to finally learn what some people will do simply out of Spite! A roller-coaster ride of a novel, it is both chilling and funny, and cold-hearted and warm.

His second novel was the more intense and dark thriller, Luby. A cold, chilling, brutal and sexually explicit novel, written partly in the First Person; here the reader can experience first hand the cruel and calculating mind of a serial killer. But it is laced throughout with aspects of dark humour, and fast-paced twisting plots, right up to the final page. Be warned - Luby is brutal and graphic in many ways and not one for the children!

Horsewater is his third novel, based around the contraversial and exciting world of Hunting. A long and epic story, involving the mix of sex, horses, jealousy, humour, violence, torture, murder and deceit, with on-going suspense, clever twisting plots and some well-developed colourful characters. Mixed with great horses and an excellent storyline, Horsewater is a great read for any equestrian fan, or simply someone who likes a great suspense novel with dark tones and adult humour. What is there not to like! Another one clealry aimed for adults due to the content.

In Horsewater, Pro’s meet Anti’s on the hunting field where each side fights for what they believe is morally their right, building up intense relationships and bitter rivalry. Battles between hunt members and the Antis rage, fuelled by unrequited love and vengeful jealously, creating a pool of dangerous and murderous intent. But many within both sides hide dark secrets. Mixed with the thunder of hooves, the bay of hounds and the blare of the hunting horn can be heard screams: – Cries of anger, pleasure and of pain. Love, passion, raw sexual pleasure, bitter jealousy, intense hatred, torture and murder are all involved in this fast moving, dark thriller, set around the always controversial, yet exciting world of hunting.

Horsewater is the missing volume in the adult equestrian fiction book market. Tally-ho!
