Daniel M. Foster wrote Waiting for Peace to chronicle the lives and deaths of his daughters and the lessons God taught him through them. Dan has known Jesus Christ as his Savior for as long as he can remember. He is an active member of a Presbyterian church in Maryland, where he is the chairman of the missions committee and teaches Sunday School. Dan spends many hours each fall volunteering as coach for a varsity cross-country team for homeschoolers. In the morning hours, and whenever else he can fit it in, he enjoys taking photos of birds. At his day job, Dan has worked for over 20 years as a systems engineer in the aerospace & defense industry. Dan is married to Breeze and together they have six children on earth, and in recent years have also gained a son-in-law and a granddaughter.
