Thommy Mardo

Thommy Mardo is a freelance photographer, gallery owner and filmmaker from Mannheim. In 2007, he moved into his current studio, the former “Rex” cinema in Mannheim’s district Schwetzingerstadt. It has a large studio space for photo and video productions as well as room for smaller and exclusive events. Here he also exhibits his work for interested visitors and sells his prints which can be up to 10 ft. Thommy Mardo was honored by “news aktuell GmbH”, a company of the dpa group, with the “obs-Award” for the best photo in the “Portrait” category. When he is not working for his well-known clients at home and abroad, he prefers to enjoy the beauty of the Dolomites and the wild streams of Austria, where he met Leopold, who told him his story.
