Linden J. DeBie

Linden J. DeBie, PhD, is a native of California who grew up near Long Beach. He studied political science and graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton. He went on to take degrees in divinity and systematic theology and finally received his PhD from McGill University in the philosophy of religion. Since then he has authored numerous articles on nineteenth-century American religion. His books focused on what has become known as the Mercersburg Theology coming out of the farmlands of rural Pennsylvania. Recently he has branched out into fiction authoring two novels, one, Dorian, philosophical and the other, Rip's Knickerbockers, historical.
