Being of service is how I’ve healed and made sense of a world which at times can look bleak. I’ve had many losses, starting at age 10. These losses have shaped my life, but have not defined it, instead it's deepened my compassion and redefined my relationships, in profound ways that allows me to live more fully and less fearfully, intertwining the legacies of those I lost, into my own life in a tapestry of honoring and remembering, as opposed to letting go or forgetting. I believe we are here to practice healing for ourselves, each other, and the planet. I practice this through sharing my passion, compassion, love and authenticity to continually growing into whom I was born being, a light in the world for myself and others to see the next step by. When my heart was completely broken, I found my way back by co-founding Jamie’s Joy non-profit to continue my son's legacy of Love*Joy*Peace* Connection. My work as a therapist focuses on healing trauma and exploring Spiritual connection through therapy, workshops, and retreats. My passions and work are also as a poet, essayist, and author.
