Rose Alvarez

Rose and Ivan are storytellers, parents, and lifelong learners inspired by family life and their loyal Xoloitzcuintli companions—Itzli, Pilli, and Ozomatli. Parenthood sparked their journey into children’s literature, where love, curiosity, and culture come together on every page.

Their books gently introduce Nahuatl, Spanish, and English through warm, accessible stories created for families to enjoy together. Rooted in cultural appreciation and connection, Rose and Ivan craft meaningful reading experiences that celebrate language, heritage, and the joy of learning side by side.
