Introducing Tyler Lormel, the dynamic artist known as Crystal Marie Tyler. Based in New York and New Jersey, Tyler is a drag performer, author, and fine artist. With a journey rooted in Staten Island, she discovered her passion for drag at just 15 years old, eventually leading her to become the president of her high school's Gay Straight Alliance. Tyler's work beautifully weaves together queer activism and history, as seen in her powerful painting "Liberation" created during her time at FIT. She achieved numerous accolades a FIT, including winning the prestigious title of Mx FIT 2022. In the same year, she launched her digital drag show "Dragging Faery Tales" a captivating platform that showcases drag artist from all corners of the globe, utilizing drag as a medium for storytelling. Now a BFA graduate in Fine Arts, Tyler's artistic journey continues to inspire and empower.
