Tom Massey is an award-winning landscape designer, writer, and Fellow of the Society of Garden Designers. His work explores the relationship between people, place, and the living world—from private gardens to landmark public projects. The author of RHS Resilient Garden and RHS Waterwise Garden (DK), Tom's designs have been celebrated with multiple RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medals, and he is currently part of the team designing new welcome gardens for the British Museum, telling the story of two million years of human history through plants and landscape. Guided by a belief that beauty and care are two movements of the same current, his practice exists at the intersection of ecology, emotion, and culture. His work invites us to see gardens and public spaces as living conversations—where design listens to what the land can sustain and responds with both visual impact and ecological intelligence. Tom lives in London, where he runs Tom Massey Studio and continues to create gardens that help people experience the intelligence and beauty of the natural world.
