Nadia May Nashi grew up and came of age in Baghdad during the Iran–Iraq War. She read architecture at Baghdad University but dropped out at the age of 22, when she emigrated to England to escape the Gulf war a few weeks before Iraq invaded Kuwait during the summer of 1990.
Nadia came away with a first-class postgraduate diploma from Greenwich University before taking a master's degree in software engineering at Westminster University and was an IT consultant for many years.
She has co-authored non-fiction credits: Java Mobile Programming and J2EE Design Patterns Applied, published by Wrox.
